Converting The Chapel Entrance for a Museum - MVRDV

MVRDV, the Dutch studio was commissioned to transform a neoclassical chapel into the main entrance for a museum of modern art in Schiedam, the Netherlands. The museum's entrance and reception area was originally located in the basement which was hard to find. MVRDV has reinvented the neglected space and with the full height red shelves, the space has become a lot more open. The shelves are all removable hence the chapel can revert back to its original form. via
